Quotations/Breakdown Coordinator (Weekends)

Location: Elland, Halifax

Terberg DTS UK is looking for a Quotations/Breakdown Coordinator to join our growing team and to be part of our Service team.


What is the job role?

To assist the Quotations Team in raising and chasing quotations. To provide assistance to customers who require an engineer attendance over a weekend. To assist our service team in ensuring we get value from 3rd party suppliers.

Requirements and what we are looking for

  • To populate and maintain the quotations defect sheet.
  • To monitor and maintain the quoted work spreadsheet.
  • To raise & plan jobs for quoted work.
  • To chase quoted work and if a quote is not accepted establish why not.
  • To liaise with our Business Development Team.
  • To answer calls and update customers accordingly.
  • To review and authorise 3rd party invoices.
  • To raise invoices and chase order numbers for completed quoted jobs.
  • Undertake any other duties consistent with the purpose of this job or to support the needs of the business.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Communications skills, both verbal and in writing, together with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage own workload & independently prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritising skills.
  • Excellent Excel Skills with good knowledge of other Microsoft Office systems i.e. Outlook & Word.
  • Excellent customer service skill are required.
  • Knowledge of vehicle parts would be beneficial but no essential.
  • Maths and English GCSE (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of a customer service role essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
