Role: Bid Team Leader (Public Sector)

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE 

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday 

Salary: up to £42,500 pa DOE

As Bid Team Leader (Public Sector), you'll lead the creation of compelling tenders and quotations for UK Councils, supporting our expanding product portfolio. You’ll work closely with Sales Managers and Technical teams to deliver tailored, high-quality bid responses, manage the end-to-end bid process, and ensure seamless order processing following successful bids. This office-based role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple bids to tight deadlines, and a passion for exceeding customer expectations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and persuasive tenders and quotations for public sector clients.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and Technical teams to configure offers and respond to customer requirements.
  • Manage the full bid process from initial enquiry to order confirmation, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Adapt and create bespoke written responses to maximise evaluation scores.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and customer service throughout all bid activities. 

About You

  • Proven experience producing public sector tenders, quotations, or bids.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, public sector frameworks, and contract documentation.
  • Excellent written communication, proofreading, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident using Excel and Word; GCSEs or equivalent required.
  • Leadership and team coordination skills, with a desire to learn and grow in a commercial environment.
  • Flexibility to meet tight deadlines and attend off-site meetings as required.
